Yes, WD-40 and Silicone spray lube as well, which I tend to use more as WD-40 can gum up over time.
I don't need portability in my tools, yet, so I tend to think of those things as household products. I'll have to change my thinking if I need to take my stuff somewhere else to use it.
I love my electric sander. I do some things by hand still, but I couldn't cope without the power version.
